Pete is playing freshman football. They are 3-0, a very talented group of young athletes. Danny is playing 7th grade football. Ron is the coach. The team is actually composed of 7th & 8th graders and is considered a "JV" Team. So next year Danny will play "Varsity". So we pretty much eat, sleep, dream, football around here. You know how it is when "dad" is coach. You go early and then are the last to leave the field! Team Carpenter ~ JV Blue is 0-3 (eeeek). Ron hates to lose. We have a pretty rugged schedule and a team that is lacking talent in a few categories. Nevertheless, they will learn a lot this year and hopefully win a bunch of the remaining games (Ron is ever the optimist)!!!!

Football season. I understand the first one there and last one to leave. I am the Head Middle School Coach this year. Our 7th grade team is 2-0 , and our 8th grade team is 0-2. We got great talent on the 7th grade team. Our 8th grade team a great team also, they just need to figure it out and get some team chemistry! And of course there are the off field issues to deal with. Hope you are having as much fun as I am!
